Hi!
I am Manuel Murcia Immigration Specialist for LARM Colombia and today I will share a bit of my life with you: I have professional studies in Political Science and Public Administration, and I have a master’s in public management. I have more than 7 years of experience in the Government in which I was part of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Colombia working in different areas of customer service providing information on all the procedures and services of this establishment to foreigners and locals and I had the opportunity to be a visa officer for Colombian Government for a couple of years.
This period in the Government was a very enriching experience for my professional life, I had the opportunity to be part in the migratory processes of transfer to Colombia, for the handling of documents, information, application of visas, return plan (for Colombian people) among others, as well as internal knowledge of the immigration area for the approval of visas: the logic behind the study of documents, migratory profiles, practices of the Colombian consulates , allowing me to have a global vision of the migration issue in Colombia.
My admission to LARM Colombia was over 2 years ago and I brought with me all this knowledge and practice in customer service with expertise in immigration issues, which has allowed me to carry out day-to-day activities and my relationship with clients in an assertive way, as well as the possibility of exchanging knowledge and experiences in the area with my colleagues and work team and I am proud to say that I am part of this great LARM Colombia family!
But in my life not everything is work! I also have another great passion that I want to share with you and it is the music, since I was 12 years old, music is part of my life I learned at that age to play guitar and since then I have had the Opportunity to be part of different groups and projects in different musical genres, although I mainly dedicate myself to Rock and Roll and Metal in their different styles; Over the years I have had approaches to other musical instruments (keyboards, drums and bass). Currently in my house I have a Home Studio in which I carry out my musical projects and occasionally I help friends and colleagues from the local and national music scene to make some of his recordings, also being a space to share and generate knowledge in this wonderful area of musical production.
I am also an avid collector of music from all times and in all formats, my favorite format to play music is the cassette because I knew this format when I was a child, that was when my love for the music collection began, I have music from many countries and genres but my greatest treasure are the copies that I have of all my friends' projects because it is an honor to witness the musical and artistic growth of people with whom I have shared on the local and national scene.
With surprise and gratitude, I tell you that this love for music has on many occasions become the topic of conversation with the transferred professionals, because the love for music is universal and transcends cultures and always gives the opportunity to know a little more about people and provide a little more personalized and enjoyable service.
This is me, a member of the large LARM family, who day by day we work to make your transfer an easy, comfortable and efficient process. Recalls that:
